Every BananaSaurus Rex bag is handmade by me — with great care — from start to finish. They are developed over time and pared down to their simplest, most functional form - in a style that appeals to men and women alike. You can be sure that every bag has been thoughtfully designed and produced, and thoroughly road tested. They are built to last, to serve you well, and never slow you down.

I'm Rebecca Thoms Hanley, the heart and soul of BananaSaurus Rex. Also, I'm the entire workforce and the inadequate bookkeeper. I live and work in Livermore, California with my handsome husband, two radiant sons, a zealous little Border Collie, and a small flock of chickens.

I'm a semi-retired graphic designer. I've loved making things all my life. I'm inspired by folk art and craft, vintage scout gear, homesteaders, passionate people, and really good books.
